Day 43; The sun needs to @#%&*!! come out!!!

I think my wanting to cave in on this no-wine thing  and obsess about wanting to drink is because of the gloomy grey days that have been settling here day after day.  It’s cold, damp and blah.  And that is sooooooooo not good for me.  I am definitely one of those people affected by the weather.  Days like this zap the energy, enthusiasm and motivation right out of me.  Boredom sets in.  I can’t get my butt to the gym.  Sleep is my activity of choice.  And that is bad.  The combo of no wine and gloomy days…yeah 😖. So, I’m thinking energy drinks may need to be consumed. I was at a customers office yesterday and someone told me about these “fizz” drinks that provide a boost of energy.  They are actually called Zipfizz.  I have never been an energy drink “drinker”. But maybe it’s time.  Well at least for a time!   Never had Red Bull or Monster.  I would love to hear from y’all about your energy drink experience….the good, the bad, the ugly and of course your brand choice👍. Thanks!

  1. There are some awesome lamps that simulate the sun…I can’t remember the name of them, but they are for people that need light and are affected by the weather.

      1. I’m doing well in the sober department but work is not good. No new job prospects and my hours were cut to 24. I’m now trying to figure out how to make do with 40% cut to my income. It’s always something! Thank God I have no desire to drink- I know you’ve been struggling and I’m sorry. Have you tried reading Belle’s first couple of months? It really helped me to solidify wanting to be sober.

  2. Seasonal Mood disorder is very common during the colder winter months. You can get a light that helps with that. I think you have to sit with it for about half an hour a day. It apparently works, if you google it you can read the testimonies. I am not a fan of energy drinks. I would rather drink my coffee with cream! but if you think they may help you through this time then go for it.
